Firstly the label Janushoved out of Denmark serves up some of the most indescribable music built of ill-wired mechanisms and a huge dose for earthy, decayed recordings. They weave that all together in the most abstract, yet wildly unpredictable, and enjoyable ways. Gersemi's 'Apsaras' is a great example of this and one of my favs on the label, so far. I'm going to have to get a part time job just to afford all the amazing albums they have to offer. Lost Tribe Sound
It took me a few listens to really "get" this, but I think because of the relatively short play time (two tracks, at about ten minutes each) meant that the record by it's very nature engendered repeated listening. If you're a fan of Emerald's "Allegory of Allergies" but want something that is less time consuming, yet somehow deftly arranges nearly as many ideas into it's modest timescale, then you could do a lot worse than this!
